The Master Bathroom is DONE!!!!!! Here's what we did- took down wallpaper, bye-bye carpet, added texture to the walls, new sewer pipe, primed and painted, new sub floor and flooring. It is cleaned and ready for move in.... well it still needs a new light fixture (which we have, just haven't installed yet), mini blinds, and a new toilet seat but its close enough and I just want to call something in the house done!
The toilet isn't in the bathtub anymore. It doesn't match perfect, but we just wanted to get that carpet out of there and put something in for now, until we re-do it in a few years. I think it looks nice and even neutralizes the pink bathtub. It was about $100, and we got enough to cover the bathroom floor AND put inside every closet in the house!!
The best part about it is that we had some extra and decided to throw it up against the kitchen cabinets and it looks GREAT!!!!
There is old carpet in there now, so we can update the floor for about $100 until we can afford to re-do the kitchen.
I think it really makes it look more modern! Especially with the new hardware (see here)
That might be a winter project!
